?? <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />2/17/92 <br />Page Five <br />Commission on Adng - Mr. Busa said the Commission held their annual thank-you <br />luncheon for employees on Valentine's Day. The Craft Group went to Fantasy Candies. <br />The Commission holds cards on the first, third, and fifth Tuesdays each month; and crafts <br />on the second and fourth Tuesdays. The Fire Department checks blood pressures on the <br />third Tuesdays. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said the Commission discussed the following: <br />1) Ordinance No. 92-04 - recommend approval <br />2) Ordinance No. 92-05 - recommend approval <br />3) Safety and Service liaison - They may want to discuss later or in Executive Session. <br />4) Establishment of line item for promotion. They recommend moving <br />ahead and to have a motion to pass it this evening. <br />5) Resolution No. 92-09 - re SPAN dues - recommend approval <br />6) Annual donation of $2,500 to Historical Society - recommend approval <br />Mr. Rinker said Council will need to amend the agenda later to consider Resolution No. <br />91-85. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante was absent. Mrs. Cinco said she does not <br />think there was a meeting. <br />Historical Societv - The restorarion crews are continuing. The coach room is 95% <br />finished. The hearse will be brought in when weather permits. Their monthly meetings are <br />held on the second Wednesdays each month at 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said they met February 6. Kay Vincent is-secretary. There are a <br />number of changes in the appointments which are noted in the minutes. Next month we <br />will have a nominating committee submit the slate for the year. Mrs. Cinco said they are <br />planning to present a plaque at the next meeting on March 5 to Harriet Sahley for her 10 <br />years of dedication. <br />Mr. Rinker asked if Council could pass a proclamation this evening. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend the agenda to include a <br />Resoludon of Appreciarion to Hazriet 5ahley for her dedicarion and service to M.A.R.C. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Fixler, Mr. Flynn, <br />and Mr. Rinker <br />NAYS: None Motion Cazried <br />Agenda Amended <br />Mr. Diemert read the resolution in title; Resolurion No. 92-11, entided; "A Resolution of <br />Appreciarion to Harriet Sahley."
