52 <br />Special Council Meeting <br />4/6/92 <br />Page Two <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 92-16, enrided; "An emergency resolution authorizing the ` <br />Mayor to seek financial assistance from the State Issue 2 Infrastructure Bond Program <br />funding of various capital infrastructure improvement projects. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 91-16. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />1VAYS: None Motion Cazried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Street Resurfacing <br />Mr. Rinker said it is his understanding that Mr. Hovancsek is ready with the specifications <br />to go out for bid on the street resurfacing project. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said he thinks it is an appropriate time to do it. If we get authorization to <br />advertise for bids now, bids should be opened prior to the Council Meeting in May for <br />award. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to authorize the Clerk of Council to <br />advertise for bids for street resurfacing. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mr. Rinker <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />Street Striging <br />Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Busa, made a motion to authorize the Clerk of Council to <br />advertise for bids for street striping. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mr. Rinker <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried Authorizaiion Given <br />Police Car RegauMr. Rinker said a motion of Council is needed to authorize repair of the police car in the <br />amount of $4,622.80. <br />Mr. Ferrante said he thought it was $3,800. <br />Mayor Pietrafese said it went down $700 from the original bid. Mr. Busa asked if they sanctioned the repair rather than replacing. <br />Chief Stevens said he and the Mayor conferred and made the decision to keep the car.
