58 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />4/20/92 <br />Page Four <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Basile said they met and had three items on the agenda: <br />1) the site plan for Progressive - they recommend it go to Council for approval; <br />2) the deck & sign for Fisher's Tavern - they recommend Council approval; <br />3) the sign for Cooperman's - was approved and they recommend Council approval. <br />Recreation - Mr. Fixler said there were 150 children at the Easter Party. So faz they have had 330 <br />children sign up for the softball program and 65 for the playground program. The race for this <br />yeaz will be left the way it was last year with all monies going into the Debbie Hudacko fund. The <br />playground has been talked about; they would like to make a presentation at the next Caucus. They <br />would like to have that included on the agenda and in addition, if Council is of a mind, if they <br />could call a special meeting afterward. <br />Mr. Rinker suggested that everything be put on paper. It would be best served if they could have <br />an outline, then if they are of a mind, they could consider it at the Special Meeting. <br />Mr. Fixler said he will see that Council is given information and a cost estimate. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they met April 6. They recommend the police cars go out for <br />the State Cooperative Purchasing Program. Chief Stevens gave them a rundown on the bicycle <br />program. This informarion will be included in the Voice of the Village. 420 Radio Update: Chief <br />Mohr said they aze using it now. Mrs. Cinco said the committee recommends approval of the <br />lowest bids received for painting the Service Building ($7,350) and repair of the dump truck <br />($3,840) and there is some question on the bids for the sidewalks around the gazebo. Fuel tank <br />update: Information will be coming in your paclcet--we will request it from the Mayor's Office. <br />Water District Committee - Mr. Rinker would like to set up a meeting in June. _ <br />OLD BUSINESS: ' <br />Planning & Zoning Update - Mr. Basile reported on the Special Planning and Zoning Meeting of <br />April 16, 1992. (see P&Z minutes) <br />W. Rinker said he would like to hold an Execurive Session and requested Council amend the <br />agenda to include the following 3 items: Executive Session, Progressive Insurance Site <br />Improvement Approval, and Deck for Fisher's Tavern. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to amend the agenda to include the above- <br />mentioned items. <br />ROLL CAIdL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Morion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />Approval of Site Improvement Plan for Progressive Insurance - Mr. Rinker explained that this is <br />an item they technically do not have to vote on as a Council. They want to enter into the record that <br />they have a basic understanding that Planning and Zoning has approved the site plans. <br /> <br /> <br />
