114 Public Hearing/Special Meeting 7/6/92 Page Two Mr. Flynn, seconded by Mr. Fixler, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 92-23. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted ANY OTTHER MATI'ER TO COME BEFORE COUNCII. Tree Planting Crrant Mr. Rinker said he would like to take this opportunity to discuss the tree planting grant. Mrs. Cinco asked why we couldn't just do it. Mayor Pietrafese said they will give us the monies in the amounts of either $8,000; $10,000; or $15,000 and we have to match the funds 50-50. It would be over his $2,500 spencling limit if we got the grant. Mr. Amendola said they did not have sufficient titne to obtain approval from the residents and to decide where the trees would go. The only roads open would be S.O.M. (west side); Highland; and the south side of White. Other than that we would have to have permission from the residents. Mr. Ferrante said then he would not be in favor of it. Mr. Fixler said if there is any further development, those trees would be destroyed. Mr. Rinker said he would be curious to know if this is offered on an annual basis so we could have the Garden Club or someone start looking into it A brief discussion was held about filing an applicarion and possibly turning down the funds if granted. Council deternuned it would be best not to apply at this time. Ken's Auto Mr. Basile said the Planning and Zoning Commission recommends Ken's Auto be authorized to have an addition for office space. Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to approve an addition for office space for Ken's Auto Service at 744 S.O.M. Center Road pursuant to the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission. . Mr. Flynn said since he has not seen the drawings or any informarion on it, he would have to vote no at this time. Mr. Amendola showed the .drawing to Mr. Flynn.
