130 <br />Regular Council Meeting , <br />8/17/92 <br />Page Two <br />Mr. IZegan said he had dealings with other C.E.O.'s and when they see something does not <br />happen they tell you. He would like to ask and plead with Council. They accept this document as <br />to what they were going to do; they never told us they just took the trees down. Why not tell us <br />before this happened? He is disappointed. <br />NIr. Rinker said you had selected a representative from your community and these people sued <br />Progressive Insurance. Mr. Rinker said he suggests the response Progressive is making is . <br />consistent with the negotiations they made eazly on. When a lawsuit was filed, communication <br />becomes difficult. Mr. Rinker said he has every reason to expect they will carry out their <br />promises. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Rinker said they have already spent more than five minutes on this and asked if Mr. <br />Gehardstein had anything to add. <br />Mr. Gehazdstein said in no way did any of these people on Aldenham have anything to do with the <br />lawsuit. <br />Mr. Rinker said said he has every reason to expect they will do a quality, job. They have put a lot <br />of dollars and effort into this project and he thinks you (Mr. Gehardstein) will be satisfied. Mr. <br />Rinker said Mr. Chokel is here and asked that the residents talk to him later. <br />CONSIIDERATION OF MINUTES: <br />Regular Council Meering - July 20. 1992 - Mr. Basile, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion <br />to approve the minutes. ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Morion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Special Council Meeting - August 3. 1992 - Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to <br />approve the minutes. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR PIETRAFESE <br />Mayor Pietrafese said the rain did not cooperate with us for our Village Pienic but people enjoyed <br />it. We have provided uniforms for our Service Department. If people got to see the service <br />employees Sunday, they were in the uniforms. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Mr. Rinker said Mr. Amendola could not be present tonight. Mr. Hovancsek said he has received three prices for water main work for Sublot 99 Timberline <br />T'rail.
