<br />Regular Council Meeting <br />8/17/92 <br />Page Three <br />Mr. Hovancsek reported the reconstruction of concrete work is essentially completed at this time. <br />Mr. Diemert said he passed out items to Council; that will be his report. <br />Chief Mohr said regarding the water line that Mr. Hovancsek referenced, there is no way that water <br />line will provide fire protection to these homes. <br />Mr. Fixler asked what size line. <br />Chief Mohr said it will be a 2" water line which will not be adequate to provide fire protecrion; it <br />would have to be a minimum of 8". <br />Mr. Hovancsek said the water line is to provide drinking water only. <br />Mr. Rinker said it was never intended for safety; it is their understanding it will be a 2" line. <br />Mr. Toth reported that there was a Finance Committee Meeting this evening and he will let the <br />Finance Committee Chaiiman discuss that. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board -Board of A12peals - Mr. Amendola was absent; no report was given. <br />CemeLeU - Mr. Basile said there was no meeting. <br />Citizen's Advisorv Committee - Mr. Fixler said they will meet later this month; no report. <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said there is no report. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Flynn said the Committee made recommendations to approve the <br />following items: <br />Ravine Drive Drainage Improvement 431,650 <br />Charles P. Braman Co. Invoice -$2,700 <br />Repairs of the 25 Yard Leaf Vacuum - Jones Equipment -$3,222.65 <br />Add-On hydraulic hose, boom assembly for leaf vacuum - Jones Equipment -$2,850 <br />Bids for one-ton trucks <br />Bids for the roof and vents at Village Hall - Yanesh -$2,985 <br />Purchase of one in-car video camera for the Police Dept. -$5;600 <br />Adler's - for softball equipment - $7,000 <br />Portable Radios for the Police Dept. -$3,178 <br />Other Items Discussed: <br />Workers Compensation Representatives - Mr. Flynn said they aze asking the Law Director <br />to send a letter bringing us up to speed on their methods and what they can do for us. <br />Fire Dept.
