132 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />8/17/92 <br />I'age Four <br />Finance Committee--Other Items Discussed: (Continued) <br />R.C. Hill Inc. Proposal of July 20, 1992 - Mr. Flynn said we had paid them a certain <br />amount of money; a part of the $7,365. We have a number of questions for them and we <br />requested that Planning & Zoning be given copies of the books Council received and get furtYier <br />input from Planning & Zoning; we have quite a few questions for them. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was no report. <br />I-iistorical Society - Mrs. Cinco said the wallpapering in the music room and the crown molding in <br />the foyer have been completed. The Ice Cream Social is September 9 at 6:30 in the picnic pavilion. <br />The Historical House will be open for everyone to review the progress. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said there was no meeting; the next meeting will be in September. <br />Ordinance Review - Mr. Rinker said there was no meeting. <br />Planning & Zoning - Mr. Basile said they did not have a quorum; they will meet Wednesday. <br />Recrearion - Mr. Fixler said the playground equipment has arrived and should be installed in a <br />week or two. Because of the overwhelming response to the Summer Playground Program, they <br />may have to potentially limit it next year. They aze looking into some of the problems they have <br />been having with the promotion of students in the swim program because they are actually ready to <br />be promoted to different levels. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco said they met August 3. They discussed the false alarm <br />ordinance, the station cleaning bid for the Fire Department, and the Service Department made their <br />first request for equipment. They also discussed the roofing bids and the one-ton truck. <br />Report from Communitv Relations Coordinator - Nir. Phillips said he hopes a11 residents received <br />the flier about the programs that will be held for the rest of the year. Mr. Phillips described the <br />programs. <br />Mr. Rinker suggested Mr. Phillips talk to Mrs. Basconi. <br />Water District Committee - Mr. Rinker said the next meeting will be held Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Engineer's Updates: <br />YJpper 40 Water Line - Status <br />Mr. Rinker asked if Council rieeds to do anything else to go forward for approval of the easement. <br />Mr. Diemert said it is his understanding when Dr. L'ing's attorney returns the easement will be <br />signed. It will be the property owner's responsibility to pay for or do it. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said it was agreed we would get the'inforination for them which we did.
