<br />Special CouncillVleeting <br />12/2/92 <br />Page Five <br />Mr. Hancalak said they could leave the ordinance on third reading and make a resolution <br />authorizing; the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the condition that Maysom Limited <br />Partnership and Clarkwood Properries or any assignment to any other individual or entity would be <br />subject to the agreement with the Village.. <br />Mr. Rinker said there aze three items listed in the letter of November 3 presented to Village off'icials <br />by Maysom Limited Partnership that must be incorporated into the resolution and there was an <br />additional item. <br />Mr. HancLllak said that Maysom Limited Partnership and Clarkwood Properties would agree that <br />any assignment made by this to individuals or enrities would be subject to the agreement of the <br />Village. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if they decide they will go ahead with the May elecrion, it would be the <br />beginning of Mazch (to meet the deadline imposed by the County to submit the issue to the ballot.) <br />Mr. Rinker said it is their intent to be sure they are ried into the table that would be imposed by the <br />Cuyahoga County Board of Elections; he does not lrnow when that would be. <br />Mr. Friedman said he does not know nor is he concerned about it. If we agree to a plan and it <br />happens in time to be on the ballot, okay. Mr. Friedman would like to know now so he knows <br />how mucli time he has.to accomplish what he needs to accomplish. <br />Mr. Rinker confirmed that the election is the second Tuesday of May and a short discussion was <br />held. <br />Council agreed they would like to put the "lst of March" in the letter of agreement from Mr. <br />Friedman (instead "the end of May"). <br />Mr. Frieclman said it was okay to put the first of Mazch in the letter. <br />Mr. Rinker said Council is leaving Ordinance No. 92-34 on third reading. <br />Mr. Hanculak read the title of the resolurion as follows: <br />Resolution No. 92-46, enritled; "A resolurion authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement <br />with Maysom Liinited Partnership and Clazkwood Properties as indicated in their agreement letter <br />of Noveinber 23, 1992, with the amendment of Mazch 1 st and with language concerning <br />assignment of property (as stated earlier during this meering.)" Iniroduced by Mayor Pietrafese <br />and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Basile, made a motion to adopt Resolution 92-46 in title. <br />Mr. Busa asked Mr. Hanculak if he recommends they go through this. <br />Mr. Han.culak said yes, it makes the other party feel comfortable and we have the authorizarion to <br />do so.
