zl, 19 <br />Regular Council Meeting <br />12/21/92 <br />Page Three <br />Mr. Rinker said, it is his understanding what they are changing (this is something that will be <br />referred to Planning and Zoning for their review) is (1) to allow for a 30-day time period (that we <br />are adding to the current legislation--a 30 day gap between the first reading and the final reading <br />of adoption). (2) A Public Hearing, and (3)--the variance is to be granted only on the evidence <br />of practic:al difficulties. <br />Mr. Dieniert said there is a routine matter regazding a request for advancement of taxes from the <br />Cuyahgoa County Treasurer's Office. If Council desires to do so under "New Business", they <br />can do sa by title if they want to bring it up at that time. <br />STAND][NG COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Architecitural Review Boazd - Mr. Amendola said the Board met and passed on two additional <br />home additions and a fence permit. <br />Board of Apneals - Mr. Amendola said they were not required to meet. <br />eme er - Mr. Basile said theyhad 8 trees cut down in the c6metery; the company ground the <br />small stuiff. <br />Citizen's Advisory Committee - Mr. Fixler reported they did not meet but had their annual <br />holiday rlinner. Their next meeting will be held the last Monday in January (January 25.) <br />Commission on Aging - Mr. Busa said the Director reports: the Senior Gentry Holiday Party <br />was a success. Approximately 70 people attended. The craft group will make candy at their next <br />session. The cazd group will have a pre-New Year's Eve party with lunch before the December <br />29 session. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn said the Committee met this evening. They discussed the annual wage <br />requests from various entiries. They referred a number of points to the Finance Director and will <br />set a subsequent meeting on this issue. <br />Hillcresn Council of Councils - Mr. Ferrante said there was a meering November 21, 1992, which <br />he was unable to attend. Mrs. Cinco attended, he gave the report to Donna and she did the <br />minutes.. Historical Socie - Mrs. Cinco said work is being done on the house. The Turkey Raffle was a <br />huge surcess, and the Pot Luck dinner was excellent. Everything is closed for the holidays. She <br />extended wishes for a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mrs. Cinco said they held an informal meeting on December 3. They did not have a <br />quorum so did not act on anything. A copy of the minutes were distributed to Council in the <br />packet. The next M.A.R.C. meeting will be held February 4, 1993. <br />Ordinanice Review - Mr. Rinker said there was nothing to report. <br />
