~. <br />lage's needs. <br />Mr. Bennett commented that 29 employees were receiving cov- <br />erage for $160 more per month, with extra benefits, from <br />Prudential than 25 employees were receiving from Blue Cross. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All . <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Amendola arrived at 7:20 P.M. <br />Mr. Bennett tur-ned. the meeting over to Mayor Beebe who had <br />called the meeting with regard to the situation of sewer <br />force main breaks on Wilson Mills Road. <br />Mayor.Beebe stated that an executive session had been requested <br />by the Law Director to discuss litigation regarding the sewer <br />matter. He stated that he had rece~~ved a letter this evening <br />from the Board of Commissioners dated January 31, 1980. He <br />said he had not had a chance to read the letter and briefly <br />covered the contents of the letter which would be circulated to <br />Council. <br />Mr. Avery stated that the letter does not mention the one reason <br />he had requested this meeting ar~d that is the placement of build- <br />ing moratorium on those communities who have connection into the <br />Wilson Mills Sewer Lines. Several months ago contact was made- <br />with the County regarding the seriousness of this situation but <br />no replys were received from the County. At Mayor Beebe's request, <br />.he had, sent telegrams to the~Commissioners stating that if no re- <br />sponse was recieved by January 10, 1980, they would file suit <br />The County states they are studying the situation but no mora- <br />torium has been mentioned. <br />Mr. Avery commented that a representative from Mr. Steve Sebesta's <br />office, County Sanitary Engineer, is present and a's.ked him if he <br />was authorized to speak on Mr. Sebesta's behalf. <br />The gentlemen replied that he lived on the East Side and it was <br />convenient for him to deliver the letter. <br />Executive Session was called at 7:25 P.M. <br />Meeting reconvened at 7:50 P.M. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Bennett, Catmen, Flynn, Spellman, <br />Mrs. H anus, Mr. Avery, Mayor Beebe and Mr.. <br />-. Beatty. . <br />Manor Beebe and Council as a Whole made;~a-mo.tio,~ ~fi;~sr-a.;a`?thorize and <br />direct the Law Director to file suit on behalf of Mayfield Village <br />against the Board of County Commissioners, Steve 5ebesta, County <br />Sanitary Engineer and the North East Ohio Regional Sewer District <br />° seeking: <br />
