Roll Call: AYES: All . NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Mr. Amendola arrived at 7:20 P.M. Mr. Bennett tur-ned. the meeting over to Mayor Beebe who had called the meeting with regard to the situation of sewer force main breaks on Wilson Mills Road. Mayor.Beebe stated that an executive session had been requested by the Law Director to discuss litigation regarding the sewer matter. He stated that he had rece~~ved a letter this evening from the Board of Commissioners dated January 31, 1980. He said he had not had a chance to read the letter and briefly covered the contents of the letter which would be circulated to Council. Mr. Avery stated that the letter does not mention the one reason he had requested this meeting ar~d that is the placement of build- ing moratorium on those communities who have connection into the Wilson Mills Sewer Lines. Several months ago contact was made- with the County regarding the seriousness of this situation but no replys were received from the County. At Mayor Beebe's request, .he had, sent telegrams to the~Commissioners stating that if no re- sponse was recieved by January 10, 1980, they would file suit The County states they are studying the situation but no mora- torium has been mentioned. Mr. Avery commented that a representative from Mr. Steve Sebesta's office, County Sanitary Engineer, is present and a's.ked him if he was authorized to speak on Mr. Sebesta's behalf. The gentlemen replied that he lived on the East Side and it was convenient for him to deliver the letter. Executive Session was called at 7:25 P.M. Meeting reconvened at 7:50 P.M.
