4. <br />I, <br />~~ ®. <br />r <br />1 <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayfield <br />March 10, 1980 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in special session <br />on Monday, March 10, 1980 at 8:10 P.M. i_n the Village Hall. <br />President Alan Bennett presided. <br />Roll Call; Present: Messrs., Bennett, Flynn, Carmen, Mrs. Hanes <br />and Miss Trask • <br />Absent: Messrs., Boger and Spellman <br />Also Present Were:. Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Beatty, Hovancsek <br />and Feneli ' <br />Mr. Bennett stated that the purpose of the meeting was to consider <br />litigation and financial matters. <br />An Executive Session was held at 8:12 P.M. <br />The meeting, reconvened at 9:05 P.M. <br />1 <br />Mr. Bennett stated that some financial legislation did not materialize <br />but the matter was discussed at great length. <br />Mayor Beebe requested Council's approval of a Proclamation of Apprecia- <br />tion to the Red Cross declaring March as Red Cross month. <br />Mrs. Hanes, seconded by Mr. Carmen, made a•motion to approve the Proclam- <br />tion. <br />There being no objections, approval was given. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated that he had reviewed the information for the Regional <br />Planning Commission with regard to funding for park and recreation facil- <br />ities. He has given the Mayor a rough draft with his remarks. There are <br />a few questions that he was unable to, at~s~uer and should be handled by <br />' the Mayor. This form has to be in the Regional Planning Commission's <br />hands by Wednesday. He-would deliver the original to Mrs. Martin to- <br />morrow for expediting. <br />Discussion was held re tYie.items~that could be part of the package which <br />could be of assistance ;in the entrance to the new service building. Mr. <br />Hovancsek remarked that~he included all that was possible with an esti- <br />mate of $100,000.00 for the project. <br />1 <br />Council as a Whole agreed that if no strings, were attached, by~~all means <br />this form should be sent with Steve's and the"Mayor's'input:` <br />Meeting recessed at 9:15 P.M. <br />
