<br />2~~' <br />,~5 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF 'COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />' ~ March 17, 1980 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session on <br />•Monday, March 17~, 1980 at 8:10~P.M. in the Village Hall. Council. <br />President, Alan Bennett presiding. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. - <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Bennett, Flynn, Mrs. Hanus, Miss Trask <br />and Mr. Spellman <br />• Absent: Messrs., Boger and Carmen ' <br />Also Present: Mayor Beebe, Gus. Amendola, Robert Beatty, Dale Feneli, <br />Steve Hovancsek, Timothy Schutt and Donald Porter and' <br />" Les Foltz ' <br />OPEN PORTION: <br />A <br />Mr. Fred Gaertner, of 6668 Wilson Mills Road, stated there exists a <br />problem iri the Village~of Commercial Vehicles being parked on private <br />property. There-are certain small. people being picked on and nothing <br />being done about the same thing happening right under your windows. <br />Mr. Amendola stated he had learned of an existing violation this after- <br />noon~and did talk with Mr. Gaertner about it prior to the meeting. <br />The Arco Service Station next door has a tow truck parked outside of <br />the garage and he has been asked to put it under cover. ' <br />Mr. Gaertner said another matter being <br />at the State's property, it looks like <br />a beautiful community, why doesn't eve: <br />used for everything. He is saving the <br />no one will ever appreciate what he is <br />him instead of getting on his back all <br />things. <br />ignored is the construction site <br />a .bomb hit it. Why doesn't someone help <br />the time to take care of the small <br />Mr, Bennett stated that zoning violations are to be handled by the Building <br />Commissioner. <br />Mr. Gaertner commented that then the thing to do would be to go down and <br />help him with th"e`painting or drive the snow plow when his men are out, <br />as he has seen Gus do. <br />Mr. Feneli stated that Mr. Amendola is in charge of zoning violations and <br />enforcement of the laws. No one else has the expertise that Mr. Amendola <br />has and cannot do his job:who is doing the work of several men. <br />Mr. Gaertner stated that he still felt Mr. Amendola was given the job <br />of harrassing the little guy and ignoring the big guys. <br />Mr. Bennett commented that Mr. Gaertner's comments would be taken into <br />consideration. <br />Thud ~~~rig rio f~~the~ comments, that portion of the meeting closed. <br />
