DEEARTOLO CORPORATION TO REZONE THE PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 6449 WILSON MILLS ROAD, HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, FROM <br />SMALL OFFICE BUILDING DISTRICT TO A MOTORIST SERVICE DISTRICT." <br />Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. .Bennett explained that a public hearing had been held and <br />asked if there were any further questions. or comments. <br />Mrs. Hanus, seconded by Miss Trask, made a motion to pass ordinance <br />79-90. <br />Roll Call: AYES: NONE <br />NP,~~S : ALL <br />Motion Not Carried <br />Mr. Feneli stated the options to the DeBartolo Corporation since <br />.the ordinance did not pass. <br />the meeting recessed at 10:30 P.M. <br />Meeting reconvened at 10:30 P.M. <br />Mr. Bennett presented an emergency ordinance to be passed by title <br />only amending section 175.0501 of the codified ordinances which will <br />increase. the Municipal Income~tax~to 1% per cent. <br />Ordinance 80-19, entitled: "AN .EMERGENCY ORDINANCE.AMENDING SEC- <br />TION 175.0501 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE BY <br />INCREASING THE RATE OF THE MUNICIPAL INCOME TAX TO 1-1/2 PERCENT; <br />PROVIDING FOR SUBMISSION OF THE AMENDMENT TO THE ELECTORS AS REQUIRED <br />BY LAW." Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Bennett explained that this step is necessary for the Village to <br />keep up with today's inflation. <br />Mr. Bennett, seconded by Mrs. Hanus,. made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate oc- <br />casions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Flynn, seconded by Miss Trask, made the motion to pass Ordinance <br />80-19. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />
