2~® Safety/Service - Mr. Flynn was in the hospital and a meeting was..not.:held. -. .. - _ Community Building - Mrs. Hanus,reported that the committee had a very stimulating meeting and while it will be some time before the project will be completed, action will be taken now to raise monies for the project and are requesting dona- tions. They will be having a.display at the Open House this weekend at-the-=new service building. She will be getting more information from Mr. Amendola on just how much money will be needed for the project. New plans will have to be prepared for submittal for possible federal funding. which will be any where from $12,000 to $15,00.0. _ Mayor Beebe commented that 90/ of those opinion poll returns have ,, favored the community building. - Mrs. Hanus'explaned the project to those .present due~to~the poss- ibility -that someone did not know what they were discussing. Cable T.V. - Mr. Carmen reported a tenative meeting has 'been set for Moxiday;,Apri1 28, 1980-at 8:00 P.M. with Via Com.to demonstrate just how the cable T.V. works. Council would be contacted by phone with confirmation of location. _ Mr. Flynn questioned what ,thenext step would be after_~ tYiis -demon- stration. Mr. Carmen=stated sufficien-t information has been gathered and comparisons will be made and an ordinance can be drafted to fit the Village's .specifications. At that time, the differentecompan~ ies can be contacted to determine.who can come closest.to our spec- ifications. OLD. BUSINESS Insurance for Recreation:Employees~= Mr. Feneli stated that he had contacted Love~.Insurance and for a premium of $79.00 per. month, all part time employees can be covered.. He will need authorization to proceed. He.still needs to check if a $1.00 token salary would make them eligible. ' Council as a Whole gave Mr. Feneli authorization to proceed. Mr. Spellman commented that.._a homeowners policy will cover the rec- reation people.as long as they have such insurance and that they do .not receive a,salary. Resolution 80-20, entitled: "A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NECESSITY OF CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS ON,BETA DRIVE IN HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, REQUIRING ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS TO CONSTRUCT THE SAME AND DECLAR- ING~AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by Council as a Whole. _ 1 1 Mr. Feneli stated that notices have to be sent to those effected by certified mail. From date of receipt, they would have 30 days to complete the walks themselves.
