Mr. <br />Bandelow. ,The Mayor welcomed Mr. Boger. <br />COUN.CIL_P.RESIDENT'S COMMENTS.. - <br />Mr. Bennett remarked the Open House for the New Service-Building <br />is going as planned and urged everyone to attend. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola submitted the minutes <br />of the meet-ing _of ApriT l7, 1980 .to Mr. Bennett as he is at the new <br />service building. <br />Board of Appeals.- No~meeting has been-held. . <br />Cemetery - Miss Trask had nothing to report. <br />Council. of~.Councils - Mr. Carmen had-rno report. - <br />Finance - Mr. Carmen reported on the meeting held on Wednesday, <br />April.l6;..1980 .at which the following s.ubjects~w.er-e discussed: <br />A~ -:: _ - <br />(1). Police Car s.ituation~- which cars to keep -.what, it would. <br />cost.: to :keep them e.tc. -. Matter .still in committee. <br />(2) Progress of the new Service Building - to open this week-end. <br />(3) Matters .that will be on the Ballot on June-3rd. A flyer is <br />being prepared for the residents to clarify each issue. . <br />(4) Bike Path - there are no monies at this time but it will be <br />,on the top o.f..the priority, list; they are-investigating grants <br />and/or projects to raise money for this in conjunction with the <br />Recreation group. _ <br />Planning and Zoning - Mrs. Hanus read the minutes of the.meeting.~tif <br />April 14, 1980. <br />Recreation/MARC - Mr. Spellman .stated there will be a special meeting <br />- ~of Recreation tomorrow or Wednesday.,to discuss the Bike Path-and what <br />ever else that may come before the Board. Discussions were held on <br />., the percent of resident participation vs non-resident in the Recreation <br />programs. Mr. Spellman read a letter that the MARC had sent to Dr. <br />Stabile re their not endorsing the school's ballot issue re a swimming <br />pool. <br />Mr. Feneli~stated tha~,t the.non=residents are char.ged.a higher .fee <br />than the residents and it is necessary to offer it.to them in order <br />to have a full program. <br />
