~~~ <br />Page 3 <br />Board of Appeals - There was no need for a meeting. <br />Cemetary - Miss Trask reported the annual meeting will be held on <br />Saturday, May 24th at 10:00 A.M. and she will be unable to attend. <br />Also, the $300.00 Village contribution is due. <br />Mr. Hanus volunteered to attend the meeting. <br />Mayor Beebe questioned if the roof has been repaired - he had been <br />asked by B~11, Village Barber Shop. If it isn't completed, it <br />should be shortly. <br />Council of Councils - No report. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn stated a meeting had been held on May 13, 1980 <br />and matters discussed were: Propriations for 1980/Employee Wage <br />Adjustments/1981 Budget. <br />Planning &.Zoninq - Mrs. Hanus reported on the Meeting of May 19, <br />1980. Mrs. Hanus stated that because of personal reasons, she will <br />be resigning as Council Representative to P & Z Commission and Mr. <br />Fred Carmen will be replacing her. <br />Mrs. Hanus stated the Euclid Industries Variance request will be <br />put before Council at its next meeting. Council needs to approve <br />the Beta Joint Venture this evening. <br />Recreation - Mayor Beebe stated he had received a letter from Dr. <br />Stabile of the School Board who agreed to maintain the ball diamonds. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Flynn reported on the meeting of May 5, 1980 <br />held at 7:00 P.M. in the Village Hall and Fire Department. Matters <br />discussed were the 1968 Ambulance/Mutual aid with Gates Mills/Alarm <br />system/Police Rolling Stock/Sick Leave. .. <br />Community Building -'Mr. Amendola_stated that little activity has <br />taken place but he will have the drawings finished in time for <br />publication at the Village Day Activities. <br />Cable T.V. - Mr. Carmen stated the preliminary work has been <br />completed and an ordinance is being drafted. Hopefully by the <br />next meeting the different companies will be able to meet with <br />Council to select the company to service the Village. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Ordinance 80-32, entitled; "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ENACTING <br />CHAPTER 971 OF THE_CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />REGULATING THE INSTALLATION AND USE OF. ALARMS SIGNALING .F IRE=OR~ <br />UNAUTHORIZED INTRUSION AT ANY RESIDENTIAL OR BUSINESS PREMISES <br />WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY:'" Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Flynn stated Section 9F/1.04 needs further review, Mr. Feneli <br />to review the section with the Police and Fire Chief and Piave <br />ready for the next meeting. <br />Ordinance 80-32 Given First Reading. <br />
