Page 3 <br />Mr. Boger stated that the two.ordinances reflect the same <br />expense, and wondered if in the future it would look like <br />Council did not know what they were doing.' <br />I <br />Mr. Flynn commented that construction costs do vary. <br />Mr. Beatty :stated.that Section 2.states "the bonds shall be <br />designated Service Building Bonds, Second Series". <br />Mr. Feneli explained that because.monies in the general fund <br />were used for labor on the service building there was a need <br />to replace these monies. <br />Mr. Boger said h.e was just concerned that .the Village would not <br />be embarrassed in any-way. <br />2~~ <br />Mr. Beatty stated everything is on paper with the Service Building <br />Construction Fund showing all that.was spent and all that wo uld be <br />spent and is open for public review. The Auditors make sure nothing <br />is done to embarrass anyone. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to ,.accept the <br />Maturity Certificate for the $230,000 Notes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Certificate Accepted <br />Ordinance 80-38, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO"ISSUE <br />NOTES IN THE ,AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED~THIRTY <br />THOUSAND DOLLARS ($230,000) IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF <br />BONDS FOR .THE .PURPOSE OF A SERVICE BUILDING .AND SITE IMPROVE_=' <br />MENTS THEREFOR:ri;!! Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mrs. Hanus,.made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Carmen,, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a mot,ion.to pass <br />Ordinance 80-38. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: 'None' - _ Motion Carried <br />Ordinance~Passed <br />1 <br />Mayor Beebe gzes,tioned if it would now be feasible to contract <br />this additional work that has to be done: <br />Mr. Beatty said he didn't feel there would be any problem as long <br />as they were within the framework of the estimates submitted by <br />Mr. Amendola. Also, they have .to sell the bank on the lending of <br />these monies but he didn't anticipate any problems. <br />
