~~C. <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayfield <br />July 14, 1980 <br />The Council.of the Village of Mayfield met in Special Session on <br />Monday, July 14, 1980 at 8:05 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council <br />President, Alan Bennett presided. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Bennett, Carmen, Flynn, Spellman <br />and Miss Trask <br />Absent: Mrs. Hanus <br />Mr. Bennett stated the purpose of the meeting was to consider <br />passing legislation for the 1981 Budget and any other business <br />that may come before Councilo <br />Mr. Bennett stated a public hearing. had been held on the 1981 <br />Budget and no comments had been made from the floor. The Budget <br />had been reviewed by the Finance Committee and it is their <br />recommendation the legislation be passed. <br />Resolution 80-49, entitled: "A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR <br />THE YEAR 1981." Introduced by Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Carmen, Seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to pass Resolution <br />80-49. <br />Mr. Bennett stated there were a few errors in the resolution and if <br />there were no objections, he would like the resolution to be passed <br />as amended. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Mr. Feneli to make the corrections. <br />Mr. Beatty expressed his appreciation. <br />Resolution 80-50, entitled: "A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NECESSITY <br />TO RENEW BY LEVY A TAX IN EXCESS OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION." <br />Introduced by Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />1 <br />
