f ~ <br />r~ s~ <br />ILJ <br />1 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Carmen, seconded by Miss Trask, made a motion to pass Ordinance <br />80-53. <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayfield <br />July 23, 1980 <br />The Council~of. the Village of Mayfield met in Special Session on <br />Wednesday, July 23, 1980 at 8:00 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council <br />President, Alan Bennett presided.. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Bennett, Carmen, Flynn, Spe111man, <br />Mrs. Hanus and Miss Trask <br />Also Present: <br />Absei'~.t : None <br />Mayor Beebe, <br />.Hovancsek <br />Mr. Amendola, Mr. Aver?, and Mr. <br />Mr. Bennett stated the meeting was called by the President of <br />Council to fill a vacancy created by Mr. William Boger who <br />resigned in June, as stated in the notice sent. He said if there <br />were no objections he would like to amend the Agenda to sware in <br />a Police Radio Dispatcher and pass Legislation for an assessment <br />on Echo Drive. <br />Ordinance No. 80-53, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE LEVYING <br />ASSESSMENTS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF ECHO DRIVE, LOCATED W.~~THIN <br />HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, BY HAVING IT REPAVED AND REDITCHED." <br />Introduced by Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated that under the law the Engineer is required <br />to submit the final estimates so that residents will have an . <br />opportunity to pay their share before we certify the unpaid balance <br />of assessments to the Auditor's Office. Notices will have to be <br />sent out by the Clerk of Council by early next week. Final <br />assessments are within a few hundred dollars of what the original <br />estimate was. The total amount of the project, including <br />contingencies; is $114,356099. _: <br />Mrs. Hanus,~seconded by Mr. Flynn, .made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law. requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions.. ~ -. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />
