<br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayfield - <br />August 18, 1980 <br />-~------,The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session on <br />- --- Monday, August 18, 1980 at 8:00 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council <br />President Alan Bennett presided. - <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Carmen, Flynn, <br />Spellman, Mrs. Hanus and Miss Trask <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Beatty, Hovancsek, <br />Chief Hejcl and Sgt. Prygo <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Mr. Bill Marquardt, 6698 Wildwood Trail, questioned the status of <br />Zorn Lane reminding Council of the problem with traffic and speeding. <br />Mr. Bennett stated the problem is still being studied by the Police <br />and Fire Departments, and we should be able to complete the matter <br />at the next Council meeting. <br />There being no further comments, that portion of the me~:ting closed. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Regular Meeting of Council - July 21, 1980 - Mr. .Bennett stated <br />the minutes have been corrected and amended and if there are no <br />objections will stand as corrected. Mr. Busa passed and there <br />were no objections. <br />Special Meeting of Council - July 23, 1980 - Mr. Bennett stated <br />the minutes have been corrected and if there are no objections <br />will stand as corrected. Mr. Busa passed and there were no ~. <br />objections. <br />MAYOR'-S COMMENTS <br />Mayor Beebe stated- that he had two points.-' He was glad to see <br />the Ordinance on Cabld T.V. in front of him. Many people had <br />asked him about it at Village Days. He would also like to express <br />his appreciation to .those who helped to make the Village Days the <br />huge success that it was. The profit from it has not yet been <br />determined but as soon as it is determined, it will be presented <br />to Council. The-Mayor also stated that on a scale of 1 - 10, he <br />would rate Village Days an 11. Mr. Bennett agreed and he would <br />also like to express his appreciation and thanks to those who helped. <br />
