MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL Village of Mayfield - August 18, 1980 -~------,The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session on - --- Monday, August 18, 1980 at 8:00 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council President Alan Bennett presided. - The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Carmen, Flynn, Spellman, Mrs. Hanus and Miss Trask Absent: None Also Present: Mayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Beatty, Hovancsek, Chief Hejcl and Sgt. Prygo OPEN PORTION Mr. Bill Marquardt, 6698 Wildwood Trail, questioned the status of Zorn Lane reminding Council of the problem with traffic and speeding. Mr. Bennett stated the problem is still being studied by the Police and Fire Departments, and we should be able to complete the matter at the next Council meeting. There being no further comments, that portion of the me~:ting closed. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Regular Meeting of Council - July 21, 1980 - Mr. .Bennett stated the minutes have been corrected and amended and if there are no objections will stand as corrected. Mr. Busa passed and there were no objections. Special Meeting of Council - July 23, 1980 - Mr. Bennett stated the minutes have been corrected and if there are no objections will stand as corrected. Mr. Busa passed and there were no ~. objections. MAYOR'-S COMMENTS Mayor Beebe stated- that he had two points.-' He was glad to see the Ordinance on Cabld T.V. in front of him. Many people had asked him about it at Village Days. He would also like to express his appreciation to .those who helped to make the Village Days the huge success that it was. The profit from it has not yet been determined but as soon as it is determined, it will be presented to Council. The-Mayor also stated that on a scale of 1 - 10, he would rate Village Days an 11. Mr. Bennett agreed and he would also like to express his appreciation and thanks to those who helped.
