2'~ <br />Mayor Beebe stated that Mr. Bob Fowler, who was to be sworn in <br />as an auxiliary Policeman at tonight;s meeting,,,is not present <br />and would be sworn in at the next official meeting. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that since there is some misunderstanding <br />regarding the picture-taking at the last meeting he would like <br />to clarify that it was due to the flash not working on his camera. <br />He requested an opportunity to re-shoot pictures of both Sheila <br />Yankora and Mr. Busa. <br />COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS r <br />Mr. Bennett stated he had no comments at this time. <br />STANDARD COMMITTEE REPORTS ~ ~- <br />Architectural Review Board - Commissioner Amendola stated they <br />did receive approval on the architectural drawings for.the Beta <br />Joint Venture. The next Architectural Review Board meeting would <br />be. in September. <br />Board of Appeals - Commissioner Amendola stated it would not be <br />necessary to call a Board of Appeals meeting this month.. -. <br />Cemetery - Miss Trask had no report. <br />Council of Councils - Mr. Carmen had no report. <br />Finance- Mr. Flynn stated there had been a meeting o~n July 15th <br />and capital improvements, Bike Path, and drainage problems. were <br />the topics of discussion. <br />Planning and Zoniri - Mr. Carmen stated there had been no Planning <br />and Zoning Meeting this month due to lack of quorum. Mr. Amendola ' <br />stated if the drawings are submitted on time there will be a <br />Workshop Meeting. - ~. <br />Recreation/MARL -'Mr. Spellman had no report. <br />Community Building - Commissioner Amendola stated there were <br />promises of donations to the Community Building/Salt Shed from <br />several people who attended Village Days. He suggested that we <br />should prepare the drawings and start getting the cost figures <br />so we know what to come, up with. Mayor Beebe added that the <br />Community Room/Salt Shed conversion should be continuing thing.' <br />He also stated that the Kiwanis volunteered to have a pancake <br />breakfast to_raise.~funds for the Community Building. Mr. Bennett <br />also stated that Pizzazz Restaurant already made a donation of <br />40 beer pitchers, and Mr. and Mrs. Hanus made a donation of 20 <br />beer pitchers. <br /> <br />
