2~'~ . <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayfield <br />September 15, 1980 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session <br />on Monday, September 15, 1980 at 8:05 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br />Council President, Alan Bennett presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs.,: Bennett, Busa, Carmen, Flynn, <br />Spellman, Mrs. Hanus and Miss Trask. <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: Mayor Beebe, Gus,,Amendola, Robert Beatty, Pti. <br />Dearden, Dale Feneli, Les Foltz, Chief Hejcl, <br />Steve Hovancsek, Eloise Maynard. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Mr. Bill Marquardt, 6698 Wildwood Trail, questioned if anything <br />was being done regarding the traffic problem on Wildwood Trail. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that he had polled the Safety Forces and it <br />is their opinion that it would not be advantageous to close off <br />the street. He stated that to solve the speed problem more <br />radar will be run and he may ask for more signs. <br />Mr. Marquardt stated that this would not resolve the traffic <br />volume problem and he would continue to bring the matter up. <br />Mayor Beebe stated he agreed the problem was not solved and <br />further study of the traffic volume would be made. <br />Mr. Bob Cotton, and wife Joan, 6826 Meadowood, requested that <br />the letter from their attorney, Wolfson & Wolfson Co., and <br />attachment, to Mayor Beebe responding to :the Mayor's letter .of <br />September 9th be read this evening and entered into the minutes. <br />Mr. Cotton stated that he would like the matter taken care of <br />within the next seven days. <br />Mr. Feneli read the letter from Wolfson & Wolfson Co. L.P.A. and <br />attachment of a document listing their claim for damages to their <br />property during the repair of the Eastgate-Meadowood storm sewer. <br />(see attachments) <br />Mr. Bennett asked the Cottons if they had anything they would <br />like to add to this. <br />
