2~9 COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S COMMENTS Mr. Bennett requested that Council have an Executive Session following the New Business. STANDARD COMMITTEE REPORTS Architectural Review Board -.Mr. Amendola stated there was no meeting in August and there would be a meeting this Thursday. . Board of Appeals - Mr. Amendola reported on the meeting held on September 9th regarding the Palesh family's request for a USE variance. The matter was discussed with Mr. Feneli, who is to review the matter further and a Board :Meeting will be held_in „ October .to finalize the matter. Cemetery - Miss Trask stated there was no report. Council of Councils - Mr. Carmen stated there was no report. Finance - Mr. Flynn stated they had met to discuss finances for the year of 1980. Planning & Zoning - Mr. Carmen stated a meeting was held on September 8th. Mr. Carmen stated that Euclid Industries had not submitted any further data on their proposal for an increase of their present facility. Mr. Amendola is to grant a sign height variance for the Beta Drive Venture. _ _ _ Mr. Feneli asked if there was a P & Z Workshop scheduled this month? .. ~ , _ Mr. Amendola stated that a workshop will be held on the 25th if materials are received. Recreation/MARC - Mr. Spellman stated that Mr. Tom Keptner resigned as Director in July and therefore Joyce Etzler and Al. ~.~ Scaccia are serving as Co-Directors; through January. That leaves only four members on the Board and there should be five. Candidates are being considered and the matter will be handled the first of January when new terms will be appointed. The meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled and rescheduled for Tuesday. He questioned if another membrr of Council could. attend for him. Mayor Beebe will be attending. Community Building - Mr. Amendola stated the Kiwanis Club will.. be holding a pancake breakfast on November 9th. A portion of the profits :will go towards the Salt Shed. More information will be available later.
