31 ~__-- <br />Mr. Zucker came forward and announced that he was from the <br />"Mayfield Kiwanis Club" which includes Mayfield Village, <br />Mayfield Heights, Gates Mills, and Highland Heights. He <br />stated he was happy to present a check in the amount of <br />$219.10, the net profit from the Pancake Breakfast, to go <br />towards the Salt Shed/Community Room fund. The .Mayor and- <br />Council expressed their thanks to Mr. Zucker.- ~ ~~ <br />Mayor Beebe stated he would `like to thank the Recreation Committee <br />for the tremendous job they did yesterday with Santa; Ride and <br />the Christmas part"y. There was a good turnout and pictures with <br />Santa were taken. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that Mr. Walter Chapman is now handling claims <br />as our broker/agent for Prudential Insurance. He stated the agent <br />would inert receive any compensation from Prudential until March of <br />1981 and he suggests a compensation of $100.00 a month be made to <br />the agent until that time. Mayor Beebe also stated for an <br />additional $35.00 per month, total for all employees, a supplemental <br />accident portion could be included in our policy. <br />Mr. Flynn asked Council for comments and recommended Council .approve <br />this additional expense. <br />Mr. Spellman, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to authorize <br />a payment of $100.00 per month to Mr. Walter Chapman for his <br />services until expiration date of present policy (March 1981); <br />and authorizing an additional $35.00 per month for supplemental <br />accident coverage for all employees. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAY5: None Motion Carried <br />•~ Authorization Given <br />STANDARD COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Amendola stated the Architectural <br />Review Board met on December 11, 1980 and the proposed plans for <br />Mayfield High School were reviewed: The drawings were not approved <br />as the Board requests moj-e information. _ <br />Board of Appeals - Mr..._Amendo.la_ stated there .was . no ne.ed__f.or a_- __. <br />meeting-this month. <br />Cemetery - Miss Trask stated there was no report. <br />Council of"Councils - Mr. Carmen stated there was no report. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn stated there was no report. <br />
