oi fN Ms. Bryant announced that anyone who has suggestions of a project should state them at this time, or they could list their suggestion on one of the green forms she has available. She stated that she would respond to every suggestion within 15 days, sending a copy of her reply to the Village also. Mr. Busa questioned.if Council could participate also. Mr, Busa questioried how the allocatiori is determin(?d. _ Mr. Feneli stated that he has a detailed letter explaining this, which he will make availabie to all Council members who are interested. Mr. Bennett asked for suggestions of projects the.allocation money could be used for. -- - - Mr, Pete Nickerson, 6705 Glenv,iew,,questioned.how spon a decision might be made - on this, -and when the' d.eclisifln is, made, -over what period of time would this money be allocated or given to us? Ms. Bryant replied that the first step would be to decide on a project, and this decision should be made by February 27,1981. Second, there will be a second.round hearing where Council will submit the project for consideration. Council agreed tq hold,the,second round hearing.on Monday,? March, ,16 at?,-7:30 P:Ni."? Mr. Flynn questioned how the decision is made as to whether or not a chosen project qualifies. Ms. Bryant stated there will be a meeting with the Mayor and- Council and a Representative from their Department, and discussion will_-be held at that.time_regarding the eli.gibility of projects..... Mrs. Nancy Plastine, 6593 Wilson Mills, made a suggestion that_, this money be-used towards the Salt Shed Community Center project. (She will be filling out a form and accepting signatures from _ others who agree to that project so that there is one form per project with a list of signatures.) Mr. Feneli suggested that the projectsbe referred to as the ? "Senior Center'.' as he believed it would bring a better,.response _ from the Federal Goverrament.
