Mr. Feneli stated <br />that legislation is pending to make our jail at96 hour jail. <br />He recommended to Chief Stevens that the Police Department continue <br />as they are and do their best to house prisoners. He stated that <br />if Council wishes, the City of North Olmstead has asked that we <br />join them to work on this matter. He stated that the final minimum <br />jail standards have not yet been completed but they must be <br />distributed within 60 - 90 days and Mr. Jim Barbie to keep in <br />touch with us. <br />Mayor Beebe - read a note he had just received regarding an accident <br />that Ptl. Dave Wheatcroft and his wife were in, in Florida. He <br />stated they had flown home and Mrs. Wheatcroft is in Hillcrest <br />Hospital with a broken, jaw, and Ptl. Wheatcroft has a broken foot. <br />Mr. Carmen - statedhhe would like to commend the Police and Fire <br />Departments for their good work as he has received copies of <br />letters to their departments, of commendation to them. <br />The Meeting went into Executive Session at 9:45 P.M. <br />Council reconvened at 10:35 P.M. <br />An immediate motion was made by Miss Trask, seconded by Mr. Busa, <br />to adjourn the meetingo <br />There being no objections, the meeting adjourned at 10:35 P.M. <br />
