<br />Ordinance 81-15, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. <br />81-6 PERTAINING TO THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE." Introduced by <br />Council as a Whole. Mr. Flynn asked for an explanation of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Mre Avery explained that there was a general agreement that it <br />would not be wise to spend the money to put this amendment to the <br />Charter on the ballot for a Special Election, and this ordinance <br />is to remove it from a Special Election. He stated he has discussed <br />this with the Charter Review Commission: and it will be on the <br />November ballot. Mr. Busa, seconded by Miss Trask, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to.be read on three separate <br />occasions.Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Mrs. Hanus and <br />Miss Trask <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr._Flynn,;made a motion to pass Ordinance <br />81-15. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Mrs..Hanus and <br />- Miss Trask --- <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Ordinance 81-161 entitled; "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO ISSUE NOTES <br />IN THE AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($100,000.00) IN ANTICIPATION OF THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE PROPERTY OWNER'S PORTION OF THE <br />COST OF REPAVING AND REDITCHING ECHO DRIVE." Introduced by Council <br />as a Whole. <br />Mr. Flynn stated Mrs. Ruggles had informed him that she would like <br />to hold this Ordinance. <br />Mr. Avery explained that this ordinance should be passed tonight <br />because of the fact that the money is needed by the second day in <br />May and there is a 30 day time limit when borrowing money. <br />
