<br />Mr. Bennett stated that he would like the ordinance to be passed <br />with the understanding that it,may hav.e to be repealed. . <br />Mr. Avery to discuss. the matter w-ith th e.Financial Consultant. <br />Mr. Avery stated that before a municpality can issue a note to <br />the bank it has to be offered to the general fund, and the Finance <br />Director has indicated.he will not buy the note. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate <br />occasions:. ' "' ' - ' <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Mrs. Hanus and <br />Miss Trask <br />NAYS.: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Hanus, made a motion to pass Ordinance <br />81-16. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs., Bennett, Busa, Flynn, Mrs. Hanus and <br />Miss Trask <br />NAYS: None . , Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Avery stated he'would like to have a brief executive session <br />following tonights meeting. <br />Mro Bennett asked for anything else for discussion. <br />Mr. Busa,questioned if Arco had paid their rent. <br />Mrs;:, Maynard stated that Arco had paid $1,000.00, but they are <br />behind on their rent. - " <br />Mr. Feneli stated he had talked with Joe Beranek who had promised <br />the money owed=us would be paid. <br />Mayor Beebe questioned if anyone could see any reason to extend <br />the lease beyond its termination date of April 15th. <br />Council agreed that the Law Director should serve notice to the <br />tenants for vacation of the premises, as per the lease. <br />?
