(^ <br />Cemetery - Miss Trask stated that regarding the grass to be cut <br />at the cemetery, that she had not been able to get in touch wi.th <br />Mrs. Riedel. <br />Mrs. Hanus stated that she had seen Mr.s. Riedel who had said that <br />she had contacted someone to cut the grass. <br />Mr. Amendola requested that in the event the person does. not cut. <br />the grass, that the Service Department be informed as two college <br />boys would be willing to do the job on either Saturday or Sunday <br />until the end of September. <br />Council of Councils - Mrs. Hanus stated that she has no report, <br />and stated that she had thought the meeting was the last Wednesday <br />of the month, however, the meeting was held on the third_Wednesday. <br />Mr. Busa also apologized for being unable to attend the meeting, as <br />he was out of town. <br />Finance - Mr. Flynn stated that there will be a Finance Meeting <br />Wednesday, May 27 at 6:30 P.M. <br />Planninct & Zonina - Mr. Busa stated that the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission had a.brief ineeting., the only-action taken being the <br />acceptance of the site plans for the Mayfield United Methodist <br />Church. <br />Recreation/M.A.R.C. - Mro Spellman stated that he attended the <br />M.A.R.C. Meeting of May 7. He stated that a summer tennis program <br />was discussed, and that the coordinator's pay increase will be <br />discussed at the May 20th meetinga _ Safetv & Service - Miss Trask stated that the Safety and Service <br />Committee had met and discussed the unmarked police car and the <br />long term and short term plans for the Fire Departmente- She_:. <br />requested additional time to discuss these matters with Mrs. <br />Ruggles before a decision is made. <br /> <br />Community Buildinq - Mrs. Hanus stated th at the balance intthe <br />Community Building Fund is presently $5,223.63. She stated that a total of 429 persons attended the Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast, <br />and that the amount of the profit has not.yet been determined. <br />She stated that the Committee has other tYaings planned for the near future. Mrs. Hanus stated.that the Village Cooks and the.:', <br />four Girl Scouts from Troop 1318 are to be commended for their <br />hard worko . <br />Mr. Bennett-commented,that he and his family hacl:attended the <br />Pancake Breakfast and th at it was very good. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Mr. Busa questioned what was being done regarding the Arco <br />Station.
