-ioo <br />Mr. William Marquardt, 6698 Wildwood Trail, questioned what action <br />had been taken regarding the replacement.of the trees on Wildwood <br />and Timberline Trails and the maintenance of the entrance way to <br />Aintree North, as discussed at the last Council Meeting. <br />Mr. Feneli stated that he had explained what had happened regarding <br />the trees to Mr. Caticchio, the attorney for Aintree North, and thematter is being investigated. Mr. Feneli explained that Mr. <br />Caticchio told him the Aintree.North Homeowners Association:had made <br />an.agreement.that the developer ofoAintree.North would send them <br />$60.00 per month to be used to hire a private.landscaper to maintain <br />the entrance way. Mr. Feneli stated Mr. Caticchio said a check in <br />the amount of $360.00 had been sent to_ a Mr.: DeSanti:s for tYie.:Home- <br />owners Association in 1980 and Mr. Caticchio will be checking to see <br />if additiorial checks. had been sent. ....: . <br />Mr. Marquardt stated there is no Homeowners Association as such, <br />and stated that Mr. DeSantis no longer li.ves in.the Village. He <br />questioned whose.responsibility the.entrance is. . <br />Mr., Feneli stated the entrance way is owned by the Aintree North <br />Development Company and it is,up to them to prove the existance of <br />a Homeowners Association. <br />Discussion was held. <br />Mr. Avery suggested Mr. Amendola maintain the property at this time, <br />and we will bill the Aintree North Development Company for the cost. <br />Discussion was held. _ <br />Mr. Avery suggested Mr. Amendola maintain the property at this.time, <br />`and we will bill the Aintree North Development Company forethe cost. <br />Mr. Amendola agreed to do this. <br />-Nir. Avery stated we will be following up on the matter. <br />Mr. R. W. Kreckel, 552 Zorn Lane, stated that when the one half <br />percent tax increase, was approved, he.believed_o.ne of the main <br />things it was to be used for was to expand the police force and questioned if this has been done. He also questioned if the <br />patrolman who is retiring will be replaced, as he had heard would <br />not be. <br />Mr. Flynn asked Council.for comments and stated there is no validity <br />to the possibility of a retiring patrolman not being replaced. <br />Mr. Flynn stated there are 18 full, time members of the Police <br />Department;: and'-appr.:bximately ;nine part time. He stated the Police <br />Department takes"up the largest shar.e of.the budget.
