He will check into the matter further. <br />Mayor Beebe stated he wants Council to be aware that per meetings <br />with Mrs. Ruggles and the Finance Committee, money can be made <br />available through Revenue Sharing for the traffic signal at Heinens. <br />He stated the specifications will be given to Eloise Maynard on <br />September 21 by Ptl. Wheatcroft to advertise for bids. Mayor <br />Beebe stated the bids will appear on September 24 and October lst <br />in the Sun Messenger. He stated that separate copies of the ad <br />will be sent to Signal Service, Traffic Control Products and <br />Collier Construction. Mayor Beebe stated that even to have a <br />non-functional light fixture up before the first of the year would <br />show good intent. <br />Discussion was held regarding a traffic sign directing "Heinen's" <br />traffic to bear left at Aintree Park Drive. A proposal was made <br />to ask Heinens to pay for the sign. As not to be precedent <br />setting, it was decided the Village will incur the cost of the <br />sign. <br />Mr. Carmen reported that Viacom is expected to start running <br />cable early next month. <br />Mr. Carmen asked Mr. Feneli to'draft an ordinance regarding <br />handicapped persons reserved parking.spaces. <br />Discussion was held and Mr. Feneli to look into the matter further. <br />Mr. Spellman asked about the noise ordinance that was going to <br />be looked into by Mr. Avery. <br />Mr. Feneli to check into this also, to have a response in a week <br />to ten days. <br />Mrs. Hanus commented on the Hayride held on September 12th put <br />on by the Recreation Committee. She stated she would have liked <br />to see more Council members in attendance. <br />Mayor Beebe stated an article would appear in the Voice of the <br />Village regarding the Heinen's traffic signal and an article <br />quoting the letter,received from Marie Coffey of Viacom. <br />There being no further business, Mr. Spellman, seconded by Miss <br />Trask, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. <br />There being no objections, the meeting was adjourned at 9:48 p.m.
