Village of Mayfield <br />September 21, 1981 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session on <br />Monday, September 21, 1981, at 8:02 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br />Council President, Lawrence J. F11%nn, presi.ded. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Busa, Etzler, Flynn, Spellman, and <br />Mrs. Hanus <br />Absent : Nir. Carmen, Miss Trask <br />Also Present Were . Pvlayor Beebe, Messrs., Amendola, Feneli, <br />Foltz, Hovancsek, Chief Stevens, Mrs. <br />Ruggles and Pvirs. IvIaynard <br />OFEN PORTION <br />Mr. William Marquardt, 6698 Wildwood Trail, stated he had noticed <br />the activity to clean up the entrance way to Aintree North had <br />stopped and questioned when it will resume. He also q.uestioned <br />the status of the trees to be replaced on Wildwood and Timberline. <br />Mayor Beebe stated he hacl been informed by Mr. Amendola that the <br />developer should have the trees planted by the end of this month. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that within the next two or three days a letter <br />explaining this will be sent to the residents on Wildwood Trail. <br />Mr. Amendola stated the south corner will be filled in with dirt <br />after the bround settles. He stated the develoUer only agreed to <br />plant 85 trees, rieaning some residents will have to retain the <br />trees they have. <br />Mr. Feneli stated he has not yet received notice of a pre-trial <br />date. <br />nirs. Jane F'etschauer, 696 Meadowood, stated in December, 1980 her <br />lzusband had written a letter to the PJlayor regar•ding an abandoned <br />building at 6691 Thornapple. She stated that at the last meeting <br />Mr. Amendola had told her the people had begun to clear out the <br />building and had been given an extension, which is now past. She <br />stated the building is still tYiere and that an abandoned car is <br />now on the property (since two days ago) adding to the already <br />existing eyesore.
