1 C ,P .w. <br />Cerzletery - Miss Trask stated that we agreed to the purchase of a <br />riding lawnmower for which we wi11 pay orse-third of the cost as <br />the cost is being.shared by two other communities. <br />Council of Councils - bZrs. Hanus stated that she was not able to <br />attend the last meeting and the other members of Council she <br />contacted were also unable to attend, so she has no report. <br />Finance - Mr. Busa stated the Finance Commi.ttee is in the process <br />of evaluating the proposed wage adjustment situati.on. He stated <br />it was his understanding that.the Mayor and some members of <br />Council have already met with the employee delegates and Department <br />Heads. <br />Mayor Beebe stated that initial meeting was to expedite the matter <br />by gathering the preliminary information that might.be needed by <br />the Finance Committee. <br />Mr. Spellman suggested the employee delegates be asked to meet with <br />th.e Finance Cornrnittee at their next meeting, November 23, at 8:00 <br />P.M. ?Ie stated the Department Iieads should also meet with the <br />Finance Committee. <br />Mr. Flynn stated only one Department Head had requested.a meeting <br />with the Finance Committee, Police Chief StevenS. <br />?It was agreed that Chief Stevens would meet with the Finance Committee <br />at 7:45 P.M. and employee delegates Ptl. Dobson and Firefighter Porter <br />would meet at 8:00 P.M. <br />Planning & Zoning - Mr. Busa stated he had no report. <br />Recreation/M.A.R.C. - Mr. Spellman stated everyone had a good time <br />at the Recreation Committee's Halloween Party. He stated their <br />Christmas Party will be December 13. <br />Safet & Service - Miss Trask stated Safety & Service did not meet <br />this month. <br />Community Building - Mrs. Hanus stated all Council members received <br />25 turkey.raffle tickets to sell and she hopes they are doirig well.. <br />She stated the Turkey Ft.affle will be this Saturday, November 21 and <br />she hopes everyone can attend. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Ordinarice 81-55, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF <br />ORDINANCE 81-21, REPEALING SECTION 2 OF SAID ORDINANCE_AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." Introduced by the Mayor and Council as <br />a Whole.
