Regular Council Meeting <br />1-27-97 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 97-02. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mayor Rinker will administer the oath of office to Mr. Feudo at the February meeting. <br />Mayor Rinker administered oaths of office to the following Activities Committee members (for <br />a one-year term): <br />Diane Catalano <br />Elliot Ross <br />Debb.ie Thomas <br />Mary Alice Chandramouli <br />A1 Scaccia <br />Mayor Rinker will administer oaths to Shirley Flugan, Laura Lynch, Mary Peto, Terry Santoro <br />and Nona Stella at a later date. <br />Mayor Rinker administered oaths of office to the following Arc6itectural Review Board <br />members (for a three-year term): <br />Dorothy Buzek <br />Ivo Tombazzi <br />Mayor Rinker administered oaths of office to the following Board of Appeals member (for a <br />four-year term): <br />Ed Sullivan <br />Mayor Rinker said he believes Citizen's Advisory has a very important function to play. In a <br />variety of ways they help to serve as a liaison between the community to Council and the <br />Administration. In the last couple of years, Mayor Rinker said he has charged the committee <br />with extra task of assisting us in dealing with long-term planning in the northwest quadrant. <br />This coming spring the work of the committee will be especialiy critical as we approach the time <br />we have to exercise the option on the golf course. 1Vdayor Rinker said Council and this <br />Administration have been very active in trying to nail down what we feel will be a very <br />worthwliile, long-term plan for development in the northwest quadrant. Council was aware that <br />I would be meeting this weekend with some representatives of the Mayfield United Methodist <br />Church. Another issue before us is being able to find the best way to construct a Village Hall <br />and Police Station. Mayor Rinker said he cannot speak to any finality, but he can say that <br />presently Mayfield United Methodist, Church is considering a number of options. Its <br />congregation has grown by leaps and,bounds over the years. They are determining whether it is <br />best for them to expand on their current site or if they will look to another location.
