Regular Council Meeting <br />2-17-97 <br />Page 10 <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring <br />an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 97-11. <br />Mr. Samac said their proposal is for two temporary office trailers for a maXimum of two years <br />beginning March 15. They will be placed in the rear of the buildings away from the structure. <br />They will be pretty much hidden from view by trees. <br />Council President Fixler asked Chief Stevens, Chief Mohr and Mr. Hovancsek if they have any <br />objections. <br />There were no objections. <br />Mr. Busa said he will abstain because he thinks we are setting a new precedent. <br />Council President Fixler reminded Mr. Busa there were only 5 Council members present this <br />evening. If Council does not pass on it as an emergency with 5 members, it would not take <br />effect for 30 days. <br />Mr. Busa thanked Mr. Fixler for bringing that to his attention and said he will vote yes <br />reluctantly. He withdrew his abstention. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 97-12, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing an <br />agreement with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield as and for employee health care and <br />hospitalization benefits." introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to suspend the nrles- of Eou:netl fequiring <br />an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br /> <br /> <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended
