Regular Council Meeting 2-17-97 Page 7 Motion to Autharize an Expenditure Not to Exceed $3,250 to Great Lakes Publishing for printing of 1.500 Telephone/Address Books Mr. Fenante, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure not to exceed $3,250 to Crreat Lakes Publishing for printing of 1,500 Telephone/Address Books. Council President Fixler said they did not sell as much advertising as they anticipated, Mayor Rinker said we added material exceeding what they typically put in. When Great Lakes approached us with the idea, they had not anticipated having so many printed pages. We thought for it to be worthwhile it made a lot more sense to add information in the nature of a handbook. We tried to expand on the advertising to keep it to $2,500 but were unable to do so. Council President Fixler said his aye vote will be witli the caveat that he would like to know the total amount of advertising they received. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized First Reading of Ordinance No. 97-07, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing an amendment to the option to lease and lease agreement with Northern Ohio Cellular Telephone Company/Airtouch Cellular." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council- requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Ferrante, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 97-07. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Canied Ordinance Enacted First Reading of Ordinance No. 97-08, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing an agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 1Vumber 57, Mayfield Village Division, relative to terms and conditions of employment from January 1, 1997 through December 31, 1999." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
