Regular Council Meeting <br />3-17-97 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />r -, <br />1VIr. Samac said the neat 4 items on the agenda were to be included on the topic agenda: <br />Sunrise Development Company - Proposed Subdivision at Highland & SOM Center <br />Antenna - Service Site <br />Antenna - Fire Department <br />Village Park Apartments - Garage Rehabilitation <br />1997 Itoad Program - Mrs. Cinco said the Finance Committee discussed this evening and asked <br />Mr. Metzung to go over this. <br />Mr. Metzung said we are looking at an estimate of $226,000. They had requested permission to <br />go out for formal bids for the 1997 road program. <br />Mrs. Cinco said we will adjust our budget accordingly and will delete or add roads. <br />Mr. Metzung said as far as White Road goes, they don't know where it will go. <br />Fireworks - A rraotion to authorize an expenditure not to egeeed $8,500 for 1997 fireworks <br />1VIr. Buckholtz, seconded by Mr.1Vlarquardt, made a motion to authorize an expenditure to <br />Coyote Rainbow not to exceed $8,500 for 1997 fireworks. <br />Dr. Parker said the display has looked good the last two years and wasn't sure we needed to <br />spend quite so much. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Canon Copier for the Police Dept. -$6,995 <br />Mrs. Cinco said this was discussed by the Finance Committee and they decided it is cheaper to <br />purchase it than to lease. <br />Nlr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize the purchase of a Canon <br />Copier in the amount of $6,995. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 97-13, entitled; "An emergency ordinance creating Section <br />351.13 prohibiting certain parking on front yards and tree lawns." Introduced by Mayor Rinker <br />and Council as a Whole.
