Regular Cbuneii Meeting <br />6-16-97 <br />Page 5 <br />Finance Cammittee <br />Mr. Marquardt said the cornmittee met this everung. The committee recommends approvai of the <br />following items: <br />1) Change order for White Road storm water drainage (Willoughby Hills to pay halfl; <br />2) Contracts with Signal Equipment and Maintenance. [Details and amounts were on the <br />agenda and appear later in the minutes.] <br />3) Chairs for the comtnnunity room: the committee suggests taking a look at alterna#e <br />chairs. <br />4)- Asphalt Hot Box: the committee asked for some re-negotiation with the vendor. <br />They will take this up again at the next meeting. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils <br />Mrs. Cinco said there will be a meeting this coming Saturday at 9;30 a.m. (Council received <br />information in their packets.) <br />Historical Societv <br />Dr. Parker gave the report. (Copy attached to the minutes as a pennanent record.) <br />M.A.R.C. <br />Mr. Buckholtz said they discussed trying to promote midget football. They will have a booth at <br />`SQs Night. <br />Ordinance Review Committee <br />Mr. Marquardt said the commiitee met June 11. They discussed the lighting ordinance. It was <br />tabled for further information: They will talk about it at their next meeting. <br />Plaiuiing and Zoning <br />Mr. Ferrante said they met June 2. There were three items on the agenda: <br />1) Austin's front patio - unanimously voted down <br />2) Lot Split Consolidation - zoning request by Progressive Insurance - voted-to accept it; <br />however, it must go on a referendum to go to a vote of the people <br />3) Commercial building at Beta Campus - the committee voted 7-0 in favor of it. <br />Recreation Board <br />Mr. Buckholtz said the All Star Games and Debbie Hudacko race will be held on the July 4`" <br />weekend. (July 5`" and 6th respectively.)
