Dr. Parlcer asked if the barn will be used completely for residential storage (not commercial.) Mr. Monaco said yes-it is all for residential storage. He does a lot of business out of his house but does not store large quantities-it is all kept on his truck. Mr. Ferrante asked what kind of truck Mr. Monaco has. Mr. Monaco said it is a landscape dump truck and he keeps his truck out of sight. He has been runniiig his business out of his home for 11 years. He got approval from Gus Amendola when he built his house. Mr. Monaco asked if Mr. Ferrante has ever received a complaint about his property. Mr. Ferrante said no. Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to grant a variance for a barn at 6442 Highland Road. Mrs. Cinco asked if there was any further discussion. Mr. Buckholtz asked if Council has turned down others for the same type of request. Mayor Rinker said we try to consider each request. For Council, the letter from N1r. Monaco's neighbors saying they don't have a problem with the request is important. That letter should be made part of the record. Mr. Monaco gave the Clerk of Council the letter signed by 5 of his neighbors. (A ropy will be made for each member of Council, Mr. Monaco and the Building Comtnissioner. 1 he original letter will be made a part of the minutes.) Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, and Dr. Parker NAYS: Mr. Marquardt Motion Carried Variance Granted *Kenwood Homeowners Association - Request for reimbursement for 50% of cost of landscaping improvement - $460 (1dI.V. portion = $230) Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize reimbursement to Kenwood Homeo_wners Assaciation for landscaping improvement in the amount of $230.
