(The maXimum size for that type of structure is 192 square feet; this barn is <br />twice that size.) <br />Dr. Parlcer asked if the barn will be used completely for residential storage (not commercial.) <br />Mr. Monaco said yes-it is all for residential storage. He does a lot of business out of his house <br />but does not store large quantities-it is all kept on his truck. <br />Mr. Ferrante asked what kind of truck Mr. Monaco has. <br />Mr. Monaco said it is a landscape dump truck and he keeps his truck out of sight. He has been <br />runniiig his business out of his home for 11 years. He got approval from Gus Amendola when he <br />built his house. <br />Mr. Monaco asked if Mr. Ferrante has ever received a complaint about his property. <br />Mr. Ferrante said no. <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Ferrante, made a motion to grant a variance for a barn at 6442 <br />Highland Road. <br />Mrs. Cinco asked if there was any further discussion. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if Council has turned down others for the same type of request. <br />Mayor Rinker said we try to consider each request. For Council, the letter from N1r. Monaco's <br />neighbors saying they don't have a problem with the request is important. That letter should be <br />made part of the record. <br />Mr. Monaco gave the Clerk of Council the letter signed by 5 of his neighbors. (A ropy will be <br />made for each member of Council, Mr. Monaco and the Building Comtnissioner. 1 he original <br />letter will be made a part of the minutes.) <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, and Dr. Parker <br />NAYS: Mr. Marquardt Motion Carried <br />Variance Granted <br />*Kenwood Homeowners Association - Request for reimbursement for 50% of cost of <br />landscaping improvement - $460 (1dI.V. portion = $230) <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize reimbursement to Kenwood <br />Homeo_wners Assaciation for landscaping improvement in the amount of $230.
