They believe they contributed to the good turnout-150
attended. Work on the Historical House continues.
M.A.R.C. - Mr. Buckholtz had no report.
Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt said there was no meeting.
Planning and Zonin? - Mr. Fenante said there was no meeting last month A workshop will be
held September M.
Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz reported the Board will meet this Wednesday to discuss the
Halloween Party.
Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz had no report.
Mayor Rinker said he had gotten a report from Gil Kostelec regarding the Northeast Ohio Sewer
District Project at the Beech Hill biofilter site. Mr. Kostelec said the work completed to date is
atrocious. They have not followed the specifications on the landscape plan. He believes it is
incumbent on us to be more assertive. There has .been a lot of work on the site. All of us had
been lead to believe that at this stage of the game there was really just the question of putting in
the landscaping.
Mr. Hovancsek suggested a copy of the letter be forwarded to the Regional Sewer District with a
letter from us requesting a meeting on site.
Mayor Rinker said that is a good suggestion. Determine a date when everyone can get together
with Mr. Kostelec and let Miss Heath-know. We should target it for the next week or so.
OLD BUSINESS
Worton Park Sewer Update
Council President Fixler said everything is in order.
Mayor Rinker said Mr: Samac just gave him a memo stating there are 10 homes that have not
connected. He had met with Ruth Langsner of the County about a week ago and she had
mentioned there was a program with the County Sanitary Engineer that allowed for some kind of
funding. We must check with the people who have not tied in to find out why. If anyone is
running into difficulty, we will find out if the County program can be of assistance to them.
