Regular Council Meeting <br />6-19-00 <br />Page 1 <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />June 19, 2000 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in regulaz session on Monday, June 19, 2000, at 8:07 p.m. <br />in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Bill Mazquazdt <br />presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa,. Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ilacqua, <br />Mr. Mazquazdt, and Mrs. Mills <br />Absent: Dr. Parker <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, Lt. Dearden (8:10 p.m.) <br />Mr. Hanculak, Mr. Metzung, Mr. Samac, Mr. Thomas, and <br />Ms. Heckler <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />~ PUBLIC HEARING FOR TAX BUDGET J <br />Mr. Brett advised that he had provided Council with the Tax Budget and it is available for public <br />review in the Clerk's Office. This is a preliminary budget used to establish the millage rates for <br />the next year; in this case, the tax year 2000, to be collected in 2001. The overall millage rates <br />are exactly the same as last year. The only difference is that we have taken all of the inside <br />millage of the general fund and transferred it to the general bond retirement fund. That is the <br />most significant difference that you will see in the Tax Budget to fortify the general bond <br />retirement fund. Mr. Brett then opened the floor for questions from Council and the public. <br />There were no questions. <br />Mr. Brett then advised that there would .be a piece of legislation tonight authorizing the <br />submission of this tax budget to Cuyahoga County Budget Commission. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />There were no comments. <br /> <br />
