Regular Council Meeting <br />6-19-00 <br />Page 2 <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Special Council Meeting-June 5, 2000 - Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to <br />approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Special Council Meeting-June 12, 2000 - Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to <br />approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mr. Ilacqua, Mr. Marquardt, and <br />Mrs. Mills <br />ABSTAIN: Mrs. Cinco <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER <br />Mayor Rinker had no comments. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT MARQUARDT <br />Council President Marquardt had no comments. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS <br />Finance - Mr. Brett stated on one of the items tonight is a motion for the purchase of the furniture <br />for the police mobile office; he received an itemized list from Lt. Dearden, at the request of the <br />Finance Committee. Mr. Brett further advised that he will pass out this list prior to the <br />discussion this evening. <br />Mr. Brett further advised that the State of Ohio Tax Commissioner's Office today approved the <br />Tax Incremental Financing Plan for Progressive that we approved two years ago, so that is a <br />good sign and that should start to generate revenue probably next year. <br />Parks & Recreation-Mr. Thomas said we have over 200 boys and girls participating in our Youth <br />Softball Program; we have close to 40 volunteer coaches. Parkview Pool opened on June 9~' <br />without a hitch, it went very smoothly. He also advised that our snack bar is running very well <br />under the capable hands of Toni Scalabrino. <br /> <br />1 <br />C <br />
