Regular Council Meeting <br />6-19-00 <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Mr. Buckholtz said a lot of hard and careful planning went in by the Recreation Board. There were a <br />lot of volunteer hours; no one in that group is an engineer or familiar with this. He is having a hard <br />time spending more money on this. <br />Mayor Rinker said that Mr. Samac and Mr. Metzung has kept on top of this and that the Law <br />Director is looking at making sure we do not have any misunderstanding with the contractor's <br />responsibility. <br />Mayor Rinker will make sure that there is no question as to how we will proceed on this project. He <br />further advised he will keep Council informed. <br />Mr. Hanculak suggested that Council pass this motion, on the condition that all the issues that have <br />been created tonight are satisfied to the Mayor's concern. <br />Mayor Rinker advised that when he is satisfied, he will communicate that to Council so if there are <br />any questions that remain, they can be answered before it is finalized. <br />Council President Marquardt advised that the motion should be amended with an addition to read, <br />contingent upon the satisfaction of the issues brought forward. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />^ A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $5,720 to Progressive for 50 <br />memberships. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Ilacqua made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$ 5,720 to Progressive. <br />Council President Marquardt opened this up for discussion. <br />Mr. Brett advised that we have already collected these fees from residents and that we pass this onto <br />Progressive. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Council President Marquardt asked if there were other items discussed in Finance. <br />Mr. Brett advised we had two retainages. <br />
