Ackerman Company for the purchase of a portable irrigation system Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $6,500 to the George F. Ackerman Company. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized ^ A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $8,185 to Concord Road Equipment for the purchase of a Bonne1111' x 42" Heavy Duty Snow Plow Mr. Busa, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $8,185 to Concord Road Equipment. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $5,000 to South East Harley-Davidson for the purchase of one 2001 Harley Davidson Motorcycle Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $5,000 to South East Harley- Davidson. Mr. Ilacqua said he felt this expense was unnecessary because there are 2 motorcycles in the Police Department already. We have a 1999 with 6,000 miles on it and one is a 1995 Harley with 20,000 miles on it. In discussion with Chief Stevens, the unit functions fine and there is no safety issue. It seems like we are making a financial move here. He suggests using the 1995 until we can t use it anymore. C ^
