Regular Council Meeting
7-17-00
Page 2
Ms. Fulton said they are both. She asked if it is possible to rename or what can be done
about this problem.
Council President Marquardt said we can look into it; he thinks it is probably unlikely
[to rename.] Maybe we can talk to Progressive about their deliveries and take a look at
it.
Mr. Hovancsek said perhaps you could indicate no trucks, then they can't turn in.
Ms. Fulton said it says no through trucks. They can't back out.
Mr. Hovancsek said a sign could be posted ahead of the street indicating no trucks.
Chief Stevens asked if Ms. Fulton knew what address they are looking for. There are no
deliverable addresses on Parkview. Parkview Drive is only a connecting street to North
Commons Boulevard.
Ms. Fulton said she assumes it is for Progressive because they never had the problem
before.
Mr. Il~cqua said maybe they need to get better directions.
Mr. Hovancsek said Progressive could advise their suppliers.
Ms. Fulton asked why the Village named the street Parkview.
Chief Stevens said as he understands it, we named it Parkview to give some recognition
to the golf course that used to be there. He will check with ~Iilloughby Hills Police to
see if we can come up with a solution.
Dr. Parker said perhaps we could also let Progressive know [there is a problem] for
their deliveries.
Council President Marquardt said to see if they could send something out that takes
care of that.
CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Regular Council Meeting Tune 19, 2000 - Mr. Busa, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a
motion to approved the minutes.
