Regular Council Meeting <br />9-18-00 <br />Page 6 <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to authorize the acquisition of informal bids for <br />emergency storm repair work. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Authorization Given <br />• Fencing at Police Department - A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$4,750 to Abbey Fence and Guardrail <br />Mr. Ilacqua said the Finance Committee reviewed the site with Mr. Metzung this evening and is <br />comfortable with the project. <br />Mr. Metzung noted the vendor name and amount for the agenda. (It has previously read vendor to <br />be determined at an amount not to exceed $5,000.) <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if it would be adequate to have one gate. <br />Chief Stevens said he thought it was okay with one gate. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />f~ <br />1 <br />• Consideration of Options for S.O.M. Center Road Median: <br />1. No median on S.O.M. Center Road whatsoever <br />Council President Marquardt said this is between Highland Road and White. <br />Mayor Rinker said he thought there was a recommendation from the Committee. <br />Council President Marquardt said there was. <br />Mr. Ilacqua said there was a recommendation from the Committee and he discussed this with <br />Council President Marquardt and thought perhaps we had to have all three on there as a matter of <br />protocol. <br />Mayor Rinker requested that it be stated for the record what the committee recommendation was and <br />whatever explanation need to be given to go ahead and do it. <br />Council President Marquardt said perhaps when we get to that. <br /> <br />
