Regular Council Meeting <br />11-20-00 <br />Page 3 <br />Historical Society -Mrs. Mills said the Turkey Raffie was a successful venture. The annual <br />potluck supper will be held December 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room. The Saturday <br />work crew is still moving forward with work on the Historical House. <br />M.A.R.C. -Mrs. Cinco said they met November 2.. (She sent out the minutes.) Ice hockey has <br />been enthusiastically received with 32 families participating. The MBA basketball started. She <br />has asked Mayor Rinker and needs to ask the President of Council--there has only been one <br />M.A.R.C. representative for the last several years, myself; Mr. Thomas has been in attendance <br />because so many of the programs are coordinated. M.A.R.C. has asked her to request Mr. <br />Thomas being the delegate of the Village. If that meets with the Mayor and Council President's <br />approval, she will forward that to M.A.R.C. She has not seen Mr. Vitale at one M.A.R.C. . <br />meeting. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Ilacqua had no report. <br />Planning and Zoning -Mrs. Mills said P&Z met November 13. The remodeling of the Shell gas <br />station was discussed, passed and recommended to go to Council. We also asked Lt. Dearden to <br />do a traffic study (which everyone should have received.) Our next workshop will be November <br />29 at 7:30 p.m. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said Recreation met November 15 and reviewed the feedback <br />on the Halloween Party. They made final arrangements for the annual Santa ride and party to be <br />held Saturday, December 16. The next meeting will be Wednesday, January 17 at 7:30 p.m. To <br />amend the record, while he was the M.A.R.C. representative, Ralph Vitale did attend one <br />M.A.R.C. meeting but it was pretty non-productive. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee -Mr. Buckholtz had no report. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />S O M Center Road Widening Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said the committee met October 24. He <br />was unable to attend. The focus of the committee now is the right-of--way acquisition process. <br />He met with Mark Burson, right-of--way acquisition specialist from URS Greiner prior to the <br />meeting. We are focusing on the impact that the right-of--way acquisition will have on various <br />properties and areas along S.O.M. and will continue to move forward on that. We are also <br />focusing on various landscaping aspects. There are currently no recommendations before <br />Council. The next meeting will be November 28. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />^ A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $5,872 to Imperial Heating <br />for Heating Repairs at Village Hall <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$5,872 to Imperial Heating. <br />
