Regular Council Meeting 11-20-00 Page 6 A motion to authorize an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $4,500 to Minuteman Press for the Winter issue of the Parks & Recreation Brochure Council President Marquardt asked if there was any discussion. He said we have tallced about reducing the cost on this in the past; he hasn't seen any action on it. Mr. Thomas said we reduced the cost from $5,100. He reduced 4 pages on the Fall brochure. The difficulty will be in the Spring/Summer brochure. We have a lot of activities on combining two seasons. He will do what he can regarding reducing the cost of that brochure as well. Council President Marquardt said there was some discussion by the Finance Committee about an accountability. He asked when Council will have that. Mr. Thomas said he will work on that this next week. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized First Reading of Ordinance No. 2000-45, entitled; "An emergency ordinance creating the position of Part Time Building/Electrical Inspector." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Council President Marquardt asked if this is the correct title. Mr. Diemert said it is an extension of the first one until March 31 but we used the same title as the one that created it. 1 Mr. Busa, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
