Regular Council Meeting <br />12-18-00 <br />Page 3 <br />M.A.R.C. -Mrs. Cinco said M.A.R.C. met December 7. The Punt, Pass & Kick contestant, <br />Michelle Brown, placed second in her category at the Browns game competition that week. Ice <br />hockey had a successful session with 34 children involved. There were 160 players in the MBA <br />Program this year; it is up 4 additional teams. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Samac said there was no report. <br />Planning and Zoning -Mrs. Mills said they met November 29. Mr. Gorka, an outdoor lighting <br />expert, was there. She asked if everyone received the information in their packets. <br />Several people nodded. <br />Mrs. Mills said P&Z also discussed the property at 845 S.O.M. and continued discussion <br />regarding the zoning of Beta Drive and the surrounding areas. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Buckholtz said Recreation held its annual Santa ride and party last <br />Saturday. There were over 200 children and adults. There will be 3 new Recreation Board <br />candidates: Jill Regalbuto, Mary Murphy and Michael Wolfe. They will be sworn in at the <br />January 22 Council Meeting. The next Recreation Board meeting will be January 17, 2001. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said there was no meeting. <br />Council President Marquardt noted the Drainage & Infrastructure Committee should be added to <br />the agenda under Special Committees. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure Committee -Mrs. Cinco said the Drainage & Infrastructure <br />Committee had its first meeting, an organizational meeting, on December 7. She will be serving <br />as Chairperson. There was preliminary discussion on prioritizing all of the projects Mr. Metzung <br />has shown the Committee and Council. Mrs. Cinco said the Committee has determined that the <br />work should be prioritized in the following order: <br />1) Health concerns <br />2) Structural Damage <br />3) Topographical Nuisance <br />Mrs. Cinco said the first priorities are 6760 and 6752 Hickory Hill. The other priority is 844 <br />Hardwood Court. We will get estimates first and see what is entailed. We have a budget for the <br />coming year that we must keep within so we will see what kind of cost sharing we can get-- <br />especially if it is on private property. The next meeting will be January 4. <br />S.O.M. Center Road Widening Committee - Mr. Ilacqua said they met with the residents-- <br />Shields, Tohme, Phillips and Jones on December 12. Their properties are the ones that will be <br />impacted by the widening at the intersection of Highland and Rt. 91. We discussed alternatives-- <br />what would be a mutually satisfactory agreement between both of us in terms of widening the <br />road there and perhaps taking 2 more feet of their property to ensure we can erect a nice facade <br />there (at Wildwood and Rt. 91.) The residents were all in agreement that they would like to see <br />something nice go up and they are willing to give up an additional 2' of their property. Mr. <br />
