Regular Council Meeting <br />1-22-08 <br />Page 7 <br />Board of Appeals - Mr. Marrelli indicated that there was no meeting, so there is no report. <br />Cemetery - Mrs. Mills reported that there was no meeting, so there is no report. <br />Citizen's Advisorv Board - Mr. Marrie reported that there was no meeting, but he has spoken <br />with Jim Mason who has been ill and still has a way to go. He definitely wants to get back into <br />it. We are going to have a meeting in February. We will call all of the committee to set up the <br />date. Jim will be going out of town for about a week, but he will be back and we will set up the <br />meeting then for whatever night fits the group best. It's wonderful to have Jim back in the <br />saddle again. With God's help, he will be back in good health in no time at all. <br />Commission on Agin? - Mrs. Kalina reported that there was a meeting on January 15th. The <br />Commission evaluated the holiday party and discussed plans for the Valentine party, the <br />employee thank you luncheon and the anniversary party. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater Mgt. - There was no report. <br />Safety and Service - Safety and Service met on January 7th. All items are on the agenda. <br />Fuxance Committee - Mrs. Mills reported that the Finance Committee met this evening. We <br />had 14 items on the agenda. We are deferring Ordinance 2008-07 for further clarification. The <br />Committee is recommending that all other items on the agenda be passed. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills announced that a grant came through from the Humanities <br />Council with the help of Ted Esborn. This regaxds the third grade students who need to fulfill <br />their Ohio educational requirements of Ohio history. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - There was no report. <br />M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker reported that the M.A.R.C. meeting was called to order on January 10, <br />2008 at 7:00 p.m. The Treasurer's report shows a balance of $30,581.00 as of December 31St <br />Some items of note: Shannon Zajec from our Punt, Pass and Kick Competition ended up going <br />on to national competition in Indianapolis. She is one of 32 finalists out of four million <br />participants. We may want to prepare something for her. Floor hockey for grades 8-12 is starting <br />up. The new wireless scoreboard at the Middle School is up and running. Mayfield Village will <br />host a kite flying and rocketman program on June 7t'. The fly fishing will also be on the <br />schedule this year. The next meeting will be February 7t" at 7:00 p.m. at the Board of Education. <br />This will be our 2008 organizational meeting. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr.Marquardt indicated that there was no meeting, so there is <br />no report. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Marquardt reported that Planning and Zoning had a special <br />workshop on January 14th.
